Good Feeling

Will remember last night to he needed a couple of photos of him doing things that he likes to do for a class. So this morning I got up early and helped him email the photos so that he could download them at school during the day. About an hour ago I got a email from Will with just a simple note saying "Thanks Mom!" This email just made me feel really happy and reminded me a what a good kid Will is!!

Reverse

Last night I sat up stairs watching the Search for the Ultimate Coyote. Mike came upstairs and I said that I was not sure why I like watching this. Mike said yeah, I thought only guys watched it. So later when he was ready to do to bed, I was watching another version of Coyote. And he said something about a reversal in roles going on here. He was referring to what I was watching and what he was downstairs watching..... Any guess??

Legally Blonde!

May Day

So my goal for this month is to have more then one post. So what better to do then to post right at the start of the month. I really wanted the blog to help me keep track of day to day events so when I scrapbook them I have some place to reference. So my blogging goal is all for me!!

Tate came off the bus with his May Day basket and knew that he was going to give it to Will. It had six pieces of candy but only one disappeared before it made it to Will's door. Not to bad Tate, I don't think that I could of withstand the candy that well! Tate was so anxious to have Will get home, he kept asking "how much longer". When Will did get home I secretly told Will what was going to happen. Will did a good job and played the big brother role well. So nice to see them have fun together!

Easter

We had a blast at my brother's place in Brainerd. Got up there around 6pm on Saturday. Stayed up playing cards until 1am.

There was snow on the ground for Easter but the day wasn't too bad. The trees helped shelter the wind. So we where able to have a Easter egg hunt outside. Mike hind the eggs while we distracted the little ones inside. Will did a good job of distracting by letting them all climb and wrestle around with him. But then he suddenly got up and said that he was going to go outside to help Mike. Jayme came to the rescue and state that Mike was outside just checking to see how much snow they had. About five minutes later Grandma Billie told the kids should go outside. She said this because the kids were being loud, and because they were being loud they didn't hear her. Finally, they did get outside and did a great job finding all the eggs.

Cyber Crop

Above are the layouts that I completed at the cyper crop at Creating Pages. It was nice to participate in a crop and not have to leave home. I will definately have to do it again!

Weekend Plans

So when the cats away the mice will play... Mike is going out of town for the weekend. For work again, hopefully the last time for a long while. Anyway, I am going to try my hand at a cyber crop. Weekend Adventure

So hopefully the title has got your attention and you keep reading....

We got to experience the lovely St. Paul over St. Patrick's day. Of course we were not there because we are Irish and it is the place to be. No, we are there for the college hockey tournament. It was a very exciting weekend because the Gopher's won the Final Five and with St. Patrick's day the people watching was the tops! A few memorable people was the guy wearing red Pippy Longstocking hair, the chubby lady in the underwear, the spray-painted green dog, but the best over all was the 70 year old man stick skinny wear tights! I was going to bring my camera but I didn't want to risk getting it lost or broken in the mess of people. Next year I will have to buy a cheap one to take along!
